non-profit organization, incorporated in
Washington, D.C. and Greater Trenton Junior
Golf Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization present the First Annual
“Player’s Championship”.
The Players Championship is a
qualifier for the coveted Callaway Junior
World Championships.
The
Callaway Junior World Championships is rich
in tradition and it is a pleasure to be
affiliated with this tournament. This
inaugural tournament had 475 entrants from
20 states and six countries. In 2001, Junior
World hosted 1040 participants from 43
states and 45 countries.
The
Junior World Golf Championships is truly
unique and one of the most prestigious
international events in the world Many
Junior World champions have gone on to enjoy
successful careers on the PGA and LPGA
Tours, including Amy Alcott, Notah Begay,
Brandie Burton, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson,
Nick Price, David Toms and Tiger Woods.
The
top male and the top 2 females in the 13-14
age division gain exemptions and the top
male and female in the 15-17 age division
gain an exemption in the Junior World
Championships in San Diego, CA.

are responsible for 100% their expinses
related to the Junior World Champianships.
