Golf
Exposure, Inc. (GX), the firm that golf built, is a non-profit
organization that was conceived in 1996, incorporated in Washington,
D.C., in 1999 and received its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in 2000. GX
creates unique opportunities to educate and expose underserved youth
to the game of golf as part of the mission to promote education,
delinquency prevention and humanitarianism.
Golf Exposure’s (GX) aspirations for these youth are to use the game
of golf as a means to learn the art of goal-setting and experience the
rewards of achieving goals. GX focuses on making positive strides and
developing a competitive spirit, to be used on the golf course and in
the other aspects of life.
Golf Exposure’s (GX) programming is an attractive, consistent, fun
and lifelong structure that keeps and maintains the attention of this
distracted youth population. GX teaches at-risk children in a creative
manner, one that enables them to gain confidence in their own
abilities to achieve. Ultimately, the goal is to create a society of
future thinkers.

Players Program
Over
the past four years of growing its program, Golf Exposure (GX)
recognizes that in order for a junior to earn a golf scholarship,
tournament competition and experience are needed. As part of GX’s
challenge to prepare juniors to receive college golf scholarships,
this years schedule is aggressive, yet attainable and definitely
exemplary of GX’s level of commitment and expectation.
A few of GX’s younger professional golf instructors were in fact
instructed in the game of golf by a few of GX’s older volunteer
instructors. GX is proud to have assembled a staff of golf instructors
and volunteers who are second to none. This group of instructors
boasts of having prepared over 45 juniors for golf scholarships at
post secondary institutions. This synergy and cohesion lie at the core
of GX’s success.

5.
Outreach Program
The
Outreach Program focuses on developing partnerships with other
community-based organizations to identify potential candidates for the
Scholastic Golf Academy (SGA) scholarships program.
Ideally,
GX will expand in proportion to the number of former SGA participants
who return to serve in the GX Alumni Association or become active in
the GX Volunteers Association as SGA mentors. The GX management
team believes that the best proof of the program’s success is the
continued engagement of those who have been program participants, and
have attained a level of achievement despite seemingly stacked odds.
6.
Building Fund
Golf
Exposure’s (GX) objective is to develop a Five-Star residential golf
community that will house a state-of-the-art technology center and
classrooms, dormitories, a championship golf course and an indoor
training facility, dedicated to educating deserving youth and
introducing them to the game of golf. This site will be the home of
the Scholastic Golf Academy (SGA), the SGA Summer Camp, the Junior
Masters and other golf tournaments. A site of this caliber will
afford GX the opportunity to work with targeted youth year-round and
achieve positive, long-term changes in their lives.
7.
Website (Advertising)
Golf
Exposure (GX) has maintained a international presence in cyberspace
for five years. GX presently owns two web addresses, golfexposure.org
and golfexposure.com. Both addresses were purchased to rule out the
possibility of missing intended traffic. This said, there are two
opportunities to find Golf Exposure, thus you our sponsor.
